Roller break in oil?

Guys, is there a need to use non synthetic oil when breaking in a roller cam?
Also, do I have to pull the radiator and FMIC when installing the cam?

I've never done a cam in the car (at least not on the buick) but I would guess the radiator would have to come out. As far as the oil goes run what you're going to run. There's no break in on a roller.

You dont need to pull the radiator. You will need to remove the fan.

Id probably run it for 500 miles on regular dino oil and then change it to synthetic. There isnt any break in but with the motor being opened up, Id probably do a relatively quick oil change and then go back to synthetic. I personally like the Mobile 1 Extended Mileage oil but I still change it every 3000 miles.
