Is a ny one running roller rockers. If so how did you clear the upper intake plenum.

Help us understand, the rocker arms are under the valve covers. The only clearance issue is with the pedestal mount fornthe rocker shafts.

The carb plenum is almost hitting the valve covers now. My car has hot air valve covers not stock 79 metal ones

I have roller rockers on my carb 3.8 and i found the only way to clear is by running the aftermarket Tall covers. Such as the Holley's or Edelbrocks.

what do hot air covers look like? I never paid much attention to their own design difference.

Did you have to raise the turbo? To clear the tall covers ?

There's low-profile valve covers for roller rockers available. Those will fit, but raising the whole turbo up on the stock manifold or modifying the carb plenum is the solution.

Adam who makes them. I'm about out of hood clearance. I have holley not a spread bore. The adapter is tall .
