rubber seals around the lock cylinders

Do I really need to reuse those crappy looking rubber gaskets when I reinstall my freshly painted lock cyls on my freshly painted doors?

If I really do need them, does anyone sell new ones?

We sell them, these are Gm you can get them cheaper aftermarket. We don't normally even charge shipping just your receipt & the 3 gaskets in an envelope.
To answer your question if you spend that much $ on a paint job the rubber will prevent the lock cylinder to digging into the paint. Then there is door handle gaskets, side mirror gaskets, Antenna bezels, etc.
