Woohoo!! I remember when BMW had the 740H at the NAIAS in Detroit. Very very cool car! Other countries have hydrogen generation systems that use solar power to run rain water through an electrolizer cell array giving H and 0, The H is stored in tanks and the Oxygen is vented to the atmosphere. The hydrogen goes in the cars and everybody wins.
I know of a few people who have seen significant (20%) gains by running some rather complex cells in their vehicles. Guess what I worked on today

The idea is not to replace gasoline, it's to make the air going into the cylinder very volatile and then mix that with gas. I see it as more of a catalyst than fuel replacement. Just like when I ran propane injection on some of my cars. I know about farday's laws but, you can't argue with the success that some of these people are having. The myth busters show on mileage was a joke.
#1 there is no way that the electrolysis cell they tested could even run a small weed eater engine.
#2 The running on acetone was all wrong. It is 1-4 oz per ten gallons of gasoline. You must run some tests to find what works best for your engine. My suburban likes 1-2oz and nothing over 3oz or mileage goes down. It never hurts to try some in a few tanks to see if your vehicle likes it. My boss ran 1oz per 10 on our trip to Novi a week ago. His gain was 3mpg for the trip. He just made th same trip a week prior, filling up at the same station/pump. The myth busters ran a car on straight acetone....duh, of course that would cost more than gasoline.

Acetone In Fuel Said to Increase Mileage
I picked up a scan gauge2 off amazon and have been learning all kinds of stuff about my poor driving habits.
I plan on taking a trip to Cleveland in a few months, I can then get some real good numbers of how the Suburban does on a long trip again. Right now it gets no less than 20 on the highway. The most was 29 with propane injection. Just watch out for people scamming crappy hydrogen boosters that your could build much better yourself. .pdf please
