Hi,

Moving from Detroit to Washington state soon, and I have to get my project going soon. My question relates to running my racecar on all alcohol:
I have a 347sbf with a 91 mm turbo. Power should be around 1200hp. I want to run alcohol and mechanical injection with this setup, instead of running EFI and an intercooler.
What are the mechanical injection setups that can work with this kind of power? I have seen the Ron's flying toilet and terminator systems, are these the best ones out there? What parts will I need to make this work?
Any help is appreciated,

Ron

Barrel valve w/a lean out valve for the top end charge and some sort of throttle body should be all you'll need. Tread carefully on the boost and sneak up on it.
Run ELECTRONIC ignition (we run the MSD 10 w/the contoller box), not the mags (unless you go dual 44s...).

Talk to the top alcohol guys...should be pretty much the same other than the hat.

What about fuel pumps, boost-referenced fuel pressure regulator, etc?
Does anyone sell a complete kit?

I only know blower cars when it comes to that stuff...they use a crank driven fuel pump (no regualtor) pressure & volume increases with RPM. I'm sure you could use and electric pump w/ boost referenced regulator...I'd get ahold of Duttweiler performance. They do turbo V8s, I'm sure they would have tackled the alcohol thing by now...there are others but you'd have to search Drag racing stuff....alot of turbo guys out there.

Thanks for the link.....however, I am not sure what SX performance's alchohol fuel pumps are like, but their EFI stuff is questionable. I have talked to alot of people who have had their's die on them for no reason; even ones that were only days old.
