Put in a radiator that is made for a f-body with a 350 because my gn was getting hot in stop and go traffic. Well it helped and doesn't get hot as fast as it did with the old one but after about 15 min it starts getting hotter and hotter. If I'm driving on the highway or across long bridge it cools back down. Do I just need a Better fan? I'm running RMI25, distilled water and maybe a half gallon of antifreeze and a bottle of waterwetter. Fans run on high when temp is over 160.

What fan? If on a budget get the dual fans from a Dodge intrepid. (Ramchargers dual fans)

If you want to replace the rad and fan once and for all, go with the ALRADCO setup. Spend the money once and be done.

I am not sure if the Alradco fan shroud will fit the F body radiator properly. The Alradco shroud covers all of the fins on the stock radiator. If you could measure the two to verify it I would recommend using their fan kit. You can go with the skinny fans or the bigger ones. You wont have any more cooling problems. Or get it all done at once with Alradcos radiator and fans. Problem solved.

The Alradco dual fan set up will work on a F body radiator. That is what I used before I bought the Alradco radiator a couple days ago,

I've got a friend that owns a junkyard and if he's got an intrepid he will sell me the fans for next to nothing. I will try that Monday and see what he's got.
