Well I just rebuilt my motor with some nice parts too many to list. My motor is well built, real strong. I plan to run 100 shot nitrous with alky on 93 pump gas. Can I pull that off with out knock. How much boost am I lookin at with both engaged.:D :) Everything in my engine is forged, balanced, blue printed, arp studded. In other words my engine is solid. I know I have to get a new chip with about 18-19 degrees timing or which chip? I heard 50 shot is 80 rear wheel hp so I'm guessing 100 is equivalent to 160hp. Once I get my new turbo and injectors I believe I'm gonna be looking at 340hp on the motor dont know how much torque. And with the alky and nitrous I should be above 500hp. What will that put me at et wise. What yall think.

I'm no expert, but I'd think that since the "effective" higher octane with alky use is a result of cooling the intake charge and your nitrous will do that anyway (and better), you may be beating a dead horse running both. Not sure, though... anybody else?

Here is the best thread I can remember, check it..

I think adding alchy to the mix is a good idea. A little bit of insurance. True the intake charge is much cooler, but I would guess that more cooling is needed.

YGETV8 How is the car running now that the vacuum leak has been found? Sheesh, I thought we would never get to the end of that one...:)

Not too well. Everything I did helped some, but still isn't right. Haven't had much time to tinker with it lately, unfortunately. Thanks for the concern! Jay
