Need to clarify what type of motors you are talking about here. We all know that most motors can't tolerate alot of boost in the first place without major engines changes from the factory. So if the f-body and mustang guys just bolt up a turbo or super charger and alky and think they can run the boost levels of a turbo Buick motor it won't happen.
I think there are plenty of TR motors running 25# of boost and alky with no probs....its also my experience that alot of f-body and mustang guys don't know the first step in tuning or reprogramming the PCM, so they take it to a tuner, which most of them don't have the experience with alky to tune it properly.
