With a 44, they start to really outrun a stock turbo at 20psi+ which requiers usually alky or race gas; some do it with big front mounts and careful timing, but alky is the safest/easiest way to get there without fowling the O2 sensor and still using pump gas, IMO.
X2 on the scanmaster and wideband with a turbotweak or Bob Bailey chip so you can control the air/fuel.
I've had my car for five years and haven't totally blown it up; I bent the rods but still drove it around and eventually to the shop. I also loved them as a kid and actually rode in my car when I was 10 and bought it from him 5 years ago. 50k miles, lots of 1/4 mile blasts, and TONS of rides on the street.
