I finally decided to sell my 87 GN today, it was hard but it was the right thing to do. Anyone who knows the car knows how perfect it was and how much time and money I had invested. I know the new owner will care for it like I did, although its going to Alaska. I'll miss it but I have other toys, maybe one day another GN. I'll still hang here every once in awhile too. Some of the best guys I've met have been buick guys. I learned alot about cars because of my GN. Its been an experience, thats for sure!

See ya!

I am glad its gone also because i don't have to come help you work on it again.LOL.

KEEP them stock last longer hahahaha.

Later Sean

I'm looking at your mods...did it run in the mid tens?? How much did you drive it? Just curious.

I never got it into the 10's. I ran out of time to even go to the track, let alone tune the car. I did drive it, it has great street manners. I just haven't driven it much this year and I'm looking into getting a bigger house but trying to keep the mortgage payment reasonable, so I'm going to put some cash down. Also the car was "done" aside from tuning it, and I am getting the itch to build another car so the garage space also is an issue. Its hard to explain but I just felt it was a good time for me to sell. Dennis (the new owner) made the process easy, and is a good guy. Ya know how every once in awhile a bunch of things line up and make a decision easier than it normally would be? Thats how it was.

Sean, you're gonna miss the buick the first time we swap motors in the Z28! You ain't gettin' off that easy!

Hard to do

I know it's hard to do. I feel like somebody was trying to take part of my life from me. I just hope it is in good hands because it just needed a little TLC and she would have been flying . I am still going to try and keep in touch because you are on hell of a great guy. Hope all goe's well for you and your family and try and keep it all in check .

Your friend,
Steve

Back at ya Steve!

The best car guys I've ever met have been Buick guys. I'll miss that the most. I never got ripped off until I started doing the mustang thing. So far I've had good luck with the F-body/ LS1 community, but theres still alot of guys to watch out for.

If I happened to live near a TB specific shop I would probably have kept it, but I don't have any time to work on it and I'll be damned if someone who knows even less than me is gonna mess it up!

I just hope I don't get out of the car thing altogether, but the scene here is dead and even with just one car I still only drive it once a week or so. Its getting pointless to even own a hot rod now.

 and you only have one job  2 job 1 newborn 2 car ---dont drive either....
