For those of you that have a scan tool, which one do you suggest and if you had to do it all over again, which one would you choose?

I know about the frames per sec issue of each and how each hooks up.

I like to run a combination of a ScanMaster & Direct Scan...

The SM is great for heads up info, keeping track of the vital parameters while cruising around & on the fly adjustments of boost & fuel for those weekend "street fun" sessions. Direct Scan's myriad data points & super fast sampling rate are good for detail oriented, post-run tuning while at the track.

BTW, checked out the web page in your sig... NICE looking car! If you haven't already hooked up with the Houston Buick Club, I can set you up on our local email list. :)

Everybody needs a scanmaster for a daily driven car.. it should be the first addition.

I run direct scan also when Im at the track for fine tuning.

dconnor. I noticed your from MoCity. Me too. Where abouts?

I would like the email list for the Buick Club. Thanks for the info.

I agree with both...I have my SM mounted above my radio, under the A/C controls and I use my D/S when tuning in new parts or racing.
