I just installed my new scanmaster 2.1. I ran two passes last night and here are the results of the last pass.

O2 mV 289
Knock retard 16.6

Since I'm new to this I'm not sure what to do next. Any suggestions?
 
You've got huge problems!!!

First off, make sure everything is running smoothly, no misfire, no vacuum leaks, no intake leaks, exhaust leaks, etc. You are WAY lean. o2s should be 850ish and kr should be 0, 2 at the most... you really shouldn't run it again til you track it down...
 
Okay, so I'm still scratching my head on this one. The car runs smooth with plenty of power and no misfires. I checked and found no vacuum leaks. Since I was running so lean I added a boost gauge, an O2 sensor, a MAF sensor, a Hotwire kit and an XP-Plus Fuel Pump. I did one pass and my O2 mV have come up to 722 but my Kr is still 16.5. I have a stock turbo and the boost was about 16 lbs. Any suggestions on what to look for next? I'm leaning towards replacing the stock injectors with 42.5 lbs injectors, but I'm not quite sure where my next change should be. Thanks.
 
What is your fuel pressure?

Im not sure what the fuel pressure is. I need to get a gauge. For the other readings, what is the best speed to take them at? Normal driving around town?
 
You should post this question in "General Buick Tech" you will get more exposure. We need to know what all your SM readings are...BL,IAC,TPS... These should be in park, engine warm(operating temp), at idle. When your ready for WOT readings do these in 3rd gear, this is so you do not get false knock (tires spinning, hard gear shifts) and go by a fuel pressure guage- the one you can place under wiper arm so you can see that pressure rises as boost rises. With knock (KR 16) that high you will blow your head gaskets:eek:
