It would definitely cool the engine a little better, but then again do you still have the original radiator? If so then you have another work load on your hand in having that repair or replace it with a 3 row aluminum radiator. I myself had the 87' original radiator boil, brushed included both coolers, top section resolder, and repainted. Right now the temp stays around 175* any higher the I will go into a dual fan system.ok thanks for the reply. By replacing the thermostat and cat, what numbers would that fix?
