Can anyone please tell me where I might be able to find out where i can get the scanmaster readout info. I just don't know what every one of the items on the display means. If you can help guide me the right way please gimme a lead.  ;)

If this is for a '78 Turbo Buick, then most of the scan tool data doesn't apply. A '78 doesn't have an ECM. Most of the scan tool data is for the many sensors that the ECM needs, like O2 sensors, Mass Air Flow (MAF), Throttle Position Sensors (TPS), etc.

87 Gran National Engine

Im in need of the scanmaster codes for the 87 Gran National engine now. I have bought an 85 Regal w/ a 87 GN engine. If anyone is in search of a 78 Buick Regal I'm selling mine now. I have recently rebuilt the engine. Engine has 9,000 miles, turbo (air research) has 10 miles---really!, carbuerator has 10 as well. It was punched 30 over and has Speed Pro forged pistons, Com Cams Camshaft, polished crank, all new bearings, heads decked, valves grinded and reseated, factory intake manifold, 2100 stall B&M torque convertor, Pioneer Flywheel, 350 turbo tranny. The body isnt too bad I did all of the body work and its primer gray, ready to get painted. Looking for like 3500obo. It just needs The PECV valve and the 2port vacuum switch which goes into the plenum

Go to gnttype.org and check out the quick reference guide. It showes all the perameters for the sensors.
