Our local racing forum has an informal King of the street race each year. Last year an F-body owner (8.44 to my 8.64) our ran me in the first round and I've never heard the end of it, but he broke out and I took the round win.

I've heard that for a year.

We line up in qualifying this year and he got schooled. And I wasn't even on my game. Didn't move until I saw him going. I turned a .3 holeshot in his favor to a .2 lead by 60 ft and a .3 lead by the 1/8th.

End was a 8.55 to a 9.2

Good deal...and you'll never hear a peep out of him about this year but last years story will never grow old.

Either way in bracket racing if he broke out you won, you cant help it he is a bumb a$$ and cant dial his car in!

Good kill!

But I've never been a fan of bracket racing. Too much sandbaggin it!
