I just bought mint condition GN & not happy with drivers seat. I need a source for front seat covers. :(

There should be a small roll of grey material in the trunk for those inserts?

Lou,

Contact Highway Stars. They have high quality reproduction seat covers. Their website is Nos4gn.com

Evidently Highway Stars are on vacation & shut down for a month. I need the stuff while I'm still young & vibrant :p

I am afraid your "young and vibrant" ship has sailed Lou, but try G-Body Parts as they usually have GN covers in stock! :)

Well at least my ship hasn't got any barnacles on it yet. But seriously I want to thank Guy Cunningham for making this car purchase happen. I asked him to go check the car out for me since I was 350 miles away so not only did he and his friend Tom do that, They also short term loaned me the money cause the owner wanted cash only . Then Guy had his crew at work wet sand the car & re clear the recent paint job that it had cause it wasn't up to his standards. Lee Westrope another stand up person delivered it with great care yesterday & it in good shape. Thanks Nick also for taking care of Some loose ends on Guys car that I couldn't because of the distance involved plus the hard to get parts that you have hooked me up with also. I hope the Buick owners in you area realize how lucky they are to have you over there for support. Regards Lou

You are most welcome!
Thanks Lou, I needed to get out of the house.
next time, I'll make time for lunch,
as it was I got home at 12:30 am, ( like just after mid night)
dragging this along,

Any time Lou!

I would have liked to have had a little more time with the car and possibly had my interior guy fix up those seats but we all knew how anxious you were to get your hands on her.

It's already a sweet car and when you're done with it she's gonna be one beautiful piece of machinery.:D

The kicker is all the documentation that was in the accordian file in the trunk.

Holy crap, this car has so much documented history it even has the original "extended warranty" form in the original owners name included from 1987!

Guy, I found the problem with the A/C it was a vacuum switch that operates the doors in the dash. Plus a broken heater control cable that is no longer available but found a used one on e-bay. Its now blowing 40-45 degrees out the vents. Not a whole lot of things wrong just some cosmetics. Waiting for highway stars to go back to work so I can order them seat covers. Going to pull the center consul out next & detail that also.
