Seeking Machinist in Northern Jersey!

Hey all. I am seeking a machinist in northen new jersey that I would like to show a crank and block to for an opinion. I have for sale a block, pistons and cranka nd all those goodies, but the block ate some chips and the crank seems to have collected the debris on the journals. There is definately scoring, but not too bad I think...I just want to see if it can be cut to .010 and used. ANyone in the area?

Jack Merkel is located in Kennelworth, prob more central than north NJ. I've spoken with him several times, and he did my heads. Great guy, seems to tell it like it is.

How can I reach Merkel? I know exactly where kenilworth is, but I have never heard of this guy until now. Any web site or phone? Thanks a ton!
