re: wiring problem

I had the same starting problem. It turned out to be the starter relay at the base of the steering column and two large pink and yellow wires had crossed and melted, shorting out. Just my 2 cents nicely modified car......TTT

Thanks, The hood is at Firebird 82-92 Ram Air Hood (96-97 style)
