Did anyone see Ken Shamrock take a dive Saturday night against Buzz Berry? What a joke & a black eye on the sport.

What's Mark Coleman thinking (besides a big payday) trying to fight Broc Lesnar & in Minnesota of all places

He's thinking Broc Lesner could be the only person on the planet who has worse conditioning than he does...I hope Coleman takes the fight serious and works on his cardio...

Shamrock is still fighting? I thought I watched his "last" fight a long while back, and he got wasted then too.

Shamrock can make more losing a fight than I can working well all year. I am sure we will see more as time passes and cost of living rises.

IMO he didn't take a dive. It's painful to watch him continue to compete. He probably "feels" like he can mentally but can't pull the trigger physically. :frown:

I don't think he took a dive, he just can't take a punch anymore. He was never a great fighter but he would fight anyone. Most of his success was in Japan fighting in the Shooto and Pancrase organizations. He has always had good submissions but not much of a striker though. He should definitely retire before he gets a serious injury. He wants to fight his brother next. He says he will teach Frank a lesson about being respectful. His son, Ryan lost his fight saturday night also.

Ryan lost because he broke his hand, from my understanding.
I wonder if he will be any good.

Shamrock is a can.. he never was that good.. he just got hyped up from Pancrease.

He was in some of the early UFCs and the fan thought since he looked tough (big muscles) that he was a good fighter. I look better with my shirt off than Fedor but, he could take car of Ken and Ryan at the same time and then Frank after some vodka. ;)

a can:eek: Back in the beginning he *was* tough. The fighters were not as evolved as the present day guys but Shamrock was a force. He beat many larger fighters(Kimo),and more skilled(Bas) fighters. Watching him now pace around the octagon without doing anything is a stark contrast to his earlier fights. IMO:(
