Over the past few months....I started thinking about shaving and all the different types of razors on the market and what the differences between them were. So I went to the store and bought a bunch of different types. Now to be fair and consistent all the tests were done on the same day within a 1 hour period. The face temp was about 94 degrees measured in a few different spots. The bite on some of the razors were very unforgiving .....kinda like a wheel hop? Anyways.....for the cheap type of razors, stay away from the 3 blade style and never a pivoting head..... I would compair this to say 10* of knock @ 30psi and 5500rpm if that's the type of compairison your looking for. The best cheap type is just your run of the mill 2 blade style. For the high dollar folks......mach III hands down, unless some of you guys are in touch with your feminine side then maybe the lady bug might be for you
. There was one that I was able to test, but couldn't test on my face because of time and space constants. Now without going into too much detail, this razor is worth every penny even if it doesn't give a close shave....it vibrates! Wanna get out of the dog house with the wife? Worked for me.
