shift plateau

Car does this sometimes...hlf or wot throttle it will wind out first then plateaus out stays out a held rpm...waiting ...wait..then boom shift. It does then inconsistently hot or cold. Fluid is almost a quart over and normally it grabs good solid 1-2 and 2-3. and very solid 3-4. Have the art carr valve body kit.

sounds like asticky tv valve ,allowing shifts only when governor pressure can beat out tv oil at the shift valve .www.ckperformance.com call us if yoyu need help .7186264315
