I want to changed the automatic shift points in my trans. Im installing a roller cam and would like it to shift around 5800-6000 RPMs. Right now it shifts about 5000-5200 RPMs. How can I raise the RPMs?
Thanks

Raising the shift point of the BRF by removing governor weight usually results in loss of a 2/1 wot kickdown above 12 mphour. The best thing is to swap out the valve body for a modified KC code with CH style shift springs and a tv limit spring that feeds the plunger 110 psi at closed throttle.I make a modified version that uses your stock governor and is run in our test car prior to shipment to verify the shift points are right where they belong.
