Just lookin' to pick some brains and get opinions on shifters. Going for a ratchet or sticking with the stocker. Curious to hear whats out there. Same for shift kits what you guys recommend. Running a stock 200r4 with a ptc 2800 stall 10'' lu convertor. Thanks guys

Stsick with the stock shifter and call Lonnie at Extreme automatics for the shift kit or get the High tech Valve body kit from California Performance trans and a .500 boost valve

Aftermarket shifters make the car look like a race car:rolleyes:Stockers rule

If you simply have your heart set on changing shifters I have a VERY lightly used Pro Ratchet and a shifter plate that was cut for it.. I was looking for something different as far as looks. While I do like how it looks, I did not like the way the shifter is designed. From park to reverse is 2 clicks, same with reverse to park. That is the ONLY complaint I have with the shifter. It looked great, shifted great, fit in the console without cutting anything but a spare shifter plate.
I went back to stock with a detent available from Gbody and am happy again, although I did like the looks of the other shifter.
