Installed a Art Carr shift kit, also a B&M quick silver shifter. At Wot works like a charm, at half / mid throttle shifts great, however at low speed I have to get up to 3000 rpm's before it will come out of low gear. Is this the nature of the beast, or is something not right. I have changed every chanel on the tv cable, and all that does is screw things up.

I'm not familiar with the A/c kit so I'm not sure what it changes. Though I would think if you are blocking the line bias that could introduce problems.

I'd suggest checking the transmission presures in each gear (TV cable out / TV cable in) to verify that the output is within the allowable presures recommended. Think Lonnie has this info on his website at Extreme Automatics. Here's a link:

I just followed the directions. Drill some holes, change springs, nothing hard about. Took the valve body out again, and re-check what I did, and it looks right.
I installed an AC shift kit a few years ago until I recently changed it out for a hybrid (which I wish I never did). I really liked the way the AC kit shifted from first to second. After installation the shift points were not changed from stock and it worked great, just had some intermittent problems going into 3rd which was probably not the shift kit.
