sunday evening I washed my car. After washing I jumped on the freeway and I noticed my car was shifting at higher rpm and I could feel it was not right. I pulled over and put it in park them back Rodriguez the it shifted fine. The fluid had already been changed a month 3 months prior. Fluid not black/burnt or anything. What should I check next.

Might try resetting the tv cable. Is it a flair/slip going into 2nd/3rd or just a shift at a higher rpm?

It's more of high rpm shifting. Then sometimes it wouldn't shift at all. I could shut the engine down and then pull off fine and it shifts. Then it would will do it again like after stopping at a light or something. Will look into the cable.

Might try taking the cable loose and cycling it sharply to possibly clear an obstruction if there might be one.

The first time I reset the tv and push the the gas pedal in the cable did return to stock and I could see and hear the clicks. Test drive it still didn't want to shift. So I pull the cable cack towards the fire wall to where two ridges were visible. It shifted but to hard. So I moved it to one ridge and it shifted smoothly but 3rd gear was still at a high rpm and i tried resetting the cable again to factory but this time when I push the pedal wot the cable didn't want to return it just bonded up. I also notice that boost lights on my dash where building at low speed. I do have a mechanical boost gauge tapped into my map sensor and it is disconnected right now as I was trying to repair the gauge internal light. No luck with that, ordered new gauge.

Try snapping the TV cable at the throttle end, a few quick in & out snaps works for me as it seems to free up the valve ??

You probably popped the governor spring. It'll need to be pinned. It's also bopping around in your trans so I'd stop driving it until you can drop the pan to inspect. The tv cable doesn't change shift points, only shift firmness.

I've already dropped the pan as soon as the problem started. Didn't see no spring.

I didn't. That's what I was going to ask next. Is it hard to remove them r inspect the governor?

Also if it is popped out is it able to be replaced? How could I prevent it from popping out again?

Dropped the pan and governor and the blue spring is still in place. Is it time for another tranny?

Did the fluid look dark? Do you have a place you feel comfortable taking it to and having them look at it?

When I first changed the fluid over two weeks ago it was dark. I do have a place in can take it. But I don't want to hear the numbers they might throw back at me haha. My friend have a 200r4 he is going to sell me. It's running fine. Should I buy it? Or is there something I should do besides pinning the governor to strengthen it before and if I decide to buy it.

Trans work is expensive. One if not the main reason I assembled my own .
This "new" trans, is it a brf from a turbo regal? If so, I'd drop it in, if not, the shift points, firmness and such might not be what you want.
Dark fluid is usually a burned clutch turning it dark. Sounds like you need a new band if the 1-2 is not firm. If it is the 2-3 the direct clutches might need replaced. Depending on the mileage new paper and rubbers New steels if they are hot spotted, upgraded Frictions . And some select upgrades.
