My 86 has Monroes which I think are too soft. What are you guys using and why? I am looking at KYB's Gas Adjust or maybe Bilsteins but do not know if the extra $ for the Bilsteins is worth it. Looking for an around town stable ride.

After recently riding in one with Bilsteins, that's what I would do. Felt like a new car, nice and tight.

I really like my kyb's . Not as expensive as the bilsteins either.
Had then in my 71 A body but it was a lot heavier car. Been doing some searching and the Bilsteins are double the price but may be worth a shot

I have had KYB's on other cars (best available) and always wanted something stiffer. I have not had KYB's on my GN, but have been extremely happy with the Bilsteins for 25yrs and 45k miles and they still work great.

I used to do the kyb until I tried to warranty one that leaked. Lifetime warranty MY A$$, Ill never buy a kyb again.

I love the Bilsteins. They cost more because they are worth it.

I see there are more than 2 part numbers for the GN's and T Types. Anyone have the current part numbers for the front and rear??

I ordered mine from Kirban's, they just listed one set.
I bought mine in '91 or '92 for $305. Now they are $339, not bad.

I have KYBs with Eibach springs, little stiff.
I might change to Bilsteins.
