The trans in the new T has started short shifting. If you’re part throttle to ¾ or full throttle it will hold the shift a little longer otherwise it’s shifting early lugging the car. The shifts are still firm just too quick. Here’s what I’ve tried and the results.
• I added one click of TV. It was very obvious it wasn’t the TV adjustment due to shifts being too harsh with more TV.
• Service trans fluids & filter. Seem like this may have improved the shift points but still shifting too soon.

Looking for advice of the cause……seemed like this just start out of the blue with no early warning signs.

Sounds like a TV problem. I doubt its the TCC solenoid. If you disconnect the TV cable and pull it as far as possible do you feel it bottom out? Could be a worn TV sleeve in the vb.

Try and get the TV adjusted so max TV is achieved as soon as possible without clicking the cable any looser than it could be. This will raise part throttle shifts. If you have to harsh a part throttle shift then the accumulators have been altered and you wont get the higher part throttle shift without harshness unless you recalibrate the accumulators. Basically just depress the detent and pull the cable out then open the throttle all the way and it will set in this position. Test drive and report back.

I have not did this....

But I have added one click of TV, when I did I got the very hash part throttle shifts.

Try unplugging the TCC connector on the side of the trans & see if you still have the prob. If you do it rules out the TCC solenoid.

TCC solenoid checked fine & I'm still having trouble with the shifts stacking very quickly.

Bison which end was you talking about when unhooking the TV cable, the end at Tbody or Trans?

Would much welcome other feedbacks on this problem......

When I unhook it from the Throttle body & pull it all the way out....Yes I can feel it bottom out, should I?

Yes. You should feel tension increase as you pull and finally it will bottom out. If you hook it to the throttle body it should bottom out just before or right at WOT if its adjusted properly.
