Well, I have been thinking that I should tint the back 3 windows of the T-Type. If I decide to do it, I will have it done with 5% quality stuff. But first I'd like to see what it looks like. So, can anyone post pics of their car with tinted windows???? Thanks!!

5 % on the 1/4 GLASS and 20% on the back glass-

makes it alot darker, and you can still see when you backup!

If you get the door windows tinted, just make sure the weather is seasonable and the a/c works! Man, did that suck with my last car in mid-august (black car, black interior, black windows)...couldn't roll down the windows for 72 hours!

thats a good idea, 20 on the back, right now i have 35 on my doors, 5 on the driver's side quarter. gotta wait for my uncle to get back from vacation so i can finish tinting my car, had time to do passenger door yesterday, but i need some more tint, i'm all out. I'm also putting vinyl on my t tops with a turbo 6 cut out in it, and an eyebrow, probably 5.

If you have patience and a hook up on tint, do it yourself, it isn't that hard if you have a clean garage.

5% on back and Q-glass, 20% on side glass, see "Website" button below. I have no problems seeing out at all. All the glass is flat, so I did it myself, it was easy.

I would say do it up! I love how mine looks with pretty heavily tinted windows. It looks even more sinister, not being able to see who's driving. I'd consider going with more than 5, mine are still easy to see out of. Just be sure you get a tint certificate when you have it done. Maine requires one for any car with tinted windows to obtain an inspection sticker (and I still don't have one!). It's a pain to get it all taken care of, so if you're required to have a tint certificate, just make sure.

A Buick saleman once told me: "That car looks so nice and stock without tinted windows".
So for the longest time, I resisted having the windows tinted. Since my car is a daily driver, I recently had the rear and quarter glass tinted to 20% and the door glass to 35%. It's not too overly dark, but I'm glad my windows are tinted. With this tint combination, you can see the passenger(s) in the front seats, but not the passenger(s) in the back seats. In CA you're not allowed to tint the door glass below 70%. I didn't want extra attention from the local highway patrol, so the 35% tint was a compromise for me. After the glass was tinted, the interior sure feels a lot cooler.

Also, if you do a search on tint, there are links to some nice looking cars with different tint combinations.
