Should Pinks go to CASH????

I know last season they actually had some decent looking cars running, but people don't want to risk losing a much better/faster car due to some "negotiations", so now everything this year is hobbled up garbage.
IMO, cash is a good idea, just use a friggin' tree, get rid of the dropping arms and facial contortions. And show the times at the end. I hate that you never know what they're running.
Only problem is, it has to be negotiated or there's no show. If it's heads up the faster car will just win repeatedly and take the money. Not enough "drama" that way.
I thought it was an interesting idea for the show at first, but the cheese factor has kicked in, big-time...

maybe there should be two brackets. bracket one would be lose the race, lose your car, but with negotiations. bracket two, would be for cash, no negotiations, no looks under the hood. you run what ya brung, heads up, best 2 out of three wins 5 grand or something like that. Just a thought though.

I thought I saw four head lights on a black car the other day :wink: in the previews! it was a gn, but not sure if that is a race to come?

Could be a preview for the Pinks All Out show that they shot here in Dallas, a local club members GN made it into the Sweet 16 for the show and he made it to 3rd place I think if I remember correctly...the episode is supposed to air in November.

If they went to cash, it would cost the host/producers too much money...their cost now is only in the film crew and the 3 or 4 spotters/tech they have and maybe the track fee. The camera crew are kids for the most part, none over 25 that I saw.

I agree with the cash idea.If both teams put up cash,instead of pinkslips,then people would bring nicer,faster cars to race.Let the bald headed fu@# hold the money.The episode where the old nova and the ranger truck raced,geez i think the nova guys lost,even though they won.... :tongue:

Where would they get the cash? But as the post above suggests the racers would put up the cash...I guess that makes sense, otherwise everyone would want to race..I wasn't thinking that, I was thinking the show would put up the cash, and since its costing them almost nothing now they probably wouldn't want to put up much.... Yeah, if the racers put up cash, at least they would have an even prize to loose instead of a car made with junk parts against a nice $20k ride or something...
