Stumbled across this while watching some 10.5 and 275 guys on youtube. NWS for some language.

Ive seen this before.. But how can him missing a gear first to third do this? It looked like he put it in reverse or something.. weird ish

I haven't really studied the video, but I think he went 1 to 2, then back to 1 supposedly. Funny stuff! I bet he shat himself!

If you run to the top of 2nd gear in a front wheel drive car the put it back in first gear and release the clutch you run into severe "engine braking". add slicks, stick track and a car that is light in the rear and that is what you get. Do the same in a Cobra or Corvette and it will start to drag the rear tires causing the fishtail effect which usually results in a loss of control.
