ok here goes, looking into the 6776RS (perfect for my goal and I got the hookup on the price) and almost have it ordered and wanted to get everyone's opinions.

I plan on getting a 3000 to 3200 lu stall with the new built trans but until then, (6 to 9 months from now), it will be on a stock converter until then. I know this is way to low of a stall to build any boost, but for the highway, where WOT will be used 90% of the time on this car, it should be ok:confused: .

I was also looking into the 6131re but not sure it will run the 122+ mph (maybe more in the future) i'm looking for without going with the all out big cam/ported heads/intake. (not to say I won't have them in the future but it will be a while) And then I looked at the 63mm and figured might as well go 67 if going to the 63, so that brings me to were I am now.

again I must stress that the car will hardly ever be launched with boost. I'm looking for big mph, from a roll power. I just hate to buy the 6131 and then 6 months later sell and buy the 6776.

all opinions welcome, anyone ??

BUY THE 6776 if you have any doubts at all - YOU WONT BE SORRY!!! why worry about whether you should have gone bigger or not - Buy once and save a lot of money and heartache.... do a search about the turbo. Great reviews and VERY streetable in the BB version [that you are looking at] - you already have the injectors and fmic. DO IT DO IT DO IT!!!

FWIW I just put a converter from PTC (Thanks Dusty) and it spools instantly! It's should be 3k-3200 stall. If anyone is looking for a converter for a 6776re, contact Dusty Bradford, he can get you what you need to spool the hell out of that turbo.

I to am going to be installing this turbo. I was thinking about a 3500 stall. is this a good choice stall?

I will be calling Dusty....again =)

i will be using a pats 10 inch non-lock up 3000-3200 stall converter for that turbo.
