I am replacing and restoring the tail light lenses. 1 lens reflector has a lot of crap on it, and is in need of a spray bomb resto.
NE1 have a source for a can??
What have others done w/ this problem??

TIA,

I recommend using gloss white spray paint for inside the tail light assembly rather than "chrome" spray paint. I think it reflects the light better.

Ok. Thanks for the help. Have a can of gloss white on the shelf!:D

I did the same for mine.....gloss white.....then dropped it on the cement floor.
The white gives a good, bright reflection of light...I did the same for the back up lights on my '69 Corvette. But, I didn't drop anything this time.

X2 with the gloss bright white. Looks good so far. I have also cleaned and polished the inside & out of lenses with super fine polishing paper to remove as much cloudiness as possible. My 'white' references were at Jalopy Journal - second link has some basic test results:

I have been thinking about the near-chrome mylar tape I was told about that supposedly is good up to 300 degrees but I don't want this set of lights to be a test monkey (so maybe later I will try the tape).
