Size of fittings/hose on Champion fuel rail???

I have it here in my hand, but I cannot seem to find any info based on the fittings. The fitting on the hose has the Aeroquip logo and says AFC1246-08. I would venture to guess that the -08 part means -8AN, however, when I measure the diameter of the hole, I am only seeing 3/8". Anyone got a clue?

So do you think this is some sort of adapter from -8AN hose to -6AN female fitting??? I am assuming that the fuel rail is threaded for -8AN O-Ring Boss fittings?

there is an approximately 1/16 in difference in the hose size and fitting id.
this is inevitable since the hose slides over part of the fitting.

Your thinking of how much thicker my member is. But you are way off. My member is much more than 1/16 larger than yours.

NAWWW................Its probably only a -3AN and it's only good for brake lines.:biggrin:e
