I thought the intercooler would make the difference you were looking for...

You liked the way mine spooled with the PTC torque converter and the turbo. I guess all is good now with that converter and the new intercooler, yes?

My combo is not excately the same as yours,but none the less it's wicked fast Next step ported heads and roller cam(with the quiet lifters). That's gonna be a little bit though.

Hey Quip6, have you run the car since you installed the TE60?

no i havent but it is way faster than the ta49. i got my heads, intake and doghouse done by khai at kn performance and dont have it back together but he told me it should be 5 to 6 tenths faster on low boost 19# or so

It will be quicker but I'm not sure how much. I love my Te-60. It makes good enough power for me. My combo:

Te-60/.63garrett, Mease Big neck 15 row Slic, Champion heads/intake, 206 roller, 60's, LS1 maf, T+/TT chip, Razor's alky, Janis transmission, 3-3200 5 disc Vigilante, 23psi, 23/23 timing on 93octane/alky. Best so far 11.25@121.62mph 1.73 60 converter unlocked.

With a better 60 and locking the converter it should go in the high 10's.
