SMC Progressive with LS1 MAF/Translator (A Must Know Detail)

Tried this mod. and now I'am getting a trouble code 34 low MAF what did I do wrong? Car seem to be fine have yet to take it on the street. Wanted to get the light off first.

Make sure you have the wires on the right leads on the relay.

Turn key on and check leads with continuity tester or 12v tester to be sure you are configured right. Make sure relay is pulling in. You want to be on the normaly open contacts.

I had the same problem. I had the relay configured wrong.

Good tech guys. I read this thread before installing my new SMC. I installed the kit and took some DS data with the pump power connected to IGN at the fuse box. The MAF signal was all over the place (noisy as hell!). Slapped a fused relay in place to power the pump from the alternator and after that the MAF signal was nice and clean.
