Sep 4, 2012 #1 S SIXBANGR mean old man Joined May 25, 2001 Messages 2,446 fresh motor with 1000 miles. After i drive it and it sits a few minutes, it will smoke and i smell oil at start up. I have stock heads but i did put viton seals on the intake and o rings on the exhaust. Could it be a valve seal?

These cars don't have exhaust seals on them unless the machinist cut the guides for them and replaced the valve with some that can be used with seals.
