Damn! Brent, That looks like it needs to be changed  I can't believe you drove it like that. I think G Body Parts sells new ones. ;)

this is true! they also have the dual ball bearing water cooled upgrade too! pick up 15 hp easy!:)

Don't forget us...

What about us "Hot-Air" guys? I called Lou a while back and he said that he only works on the 86/87 cars. With so much praise, I'm thinking I need to buy an IC car just so I can see Lou!

Sometimes its nice to bounce ideas off a professional in person, you know?

It looks like that muffler bearing is too big compared to the muffler shaft and you may end up with some play, make sure you double check that before installation, been there done that and if the clearances are not right you will end up destroying not only the bearing the the muffler itself, dont say i didnt warn you about it,,

Your welcome to call anytime for advise & whatever help I can be.What else can I say is that the earlier cars had so many problems. Parts were hard to find even when they were fairly new. There's a reason Buick redesigned that package. What was even worst were the carburated turbo TR's in the late 70's they were beyond repair.GM made a lot of screw ups back then & some cars should of never been built. Vega,Citation,4,6,8, Cadillac, & the diesel program who can forget, to mention a few. Those cars were referred to as alligators in the service industry. Cause if you worked on them you were certain to get bit. That's how Honda & Toyota got rich.

+20 on Lou.
He's brought my GN around big time...I couldn't be happier.

He'll tell you exactly what you need; will only sell you what needs to be done; his rates are VERY reasonable; takes his time to do it right; and takes the tim to call you from time-to-time to make sure everything is working as it should.

Great guy.
...very much worth the drive from LA.
Thanks Tim, Now I know that this is going to cost me at least a lunch. lol

are we ALL invited??

Laughing hysterically at work right now.
That was a good one, Lou.

Now get your sheep to stop prank calling me!!!
And for chrissssssakes...keep the roll up door down when you're corralling the herd or COVER YOURSELF!:D

The fun is just starting i looked at my headers today and they are craked. Fun Fun. i am sure i just bought the shovel to start diging my way into buick ownership

Lou fixes headers...paints them real pretty too.

Agree

Budgets & Buick's don't mix. They are like a high maintenance pension busting Blonde who will demand all your time & will squeeze every last dollar out of you. They like women are also menopausal. One minute are happy & put out. Then for no damn good reason turn into a bitch & make your life miserable. but whats a guy to do ,Can't live without them & cant shoot em. That my friend is an over the top definition of the joys of Buick ownership. Do any of the devout here care to disagree. lol

I would have to agree with you pretty much explaines it.I myself about had it & wife but in the long run its fun.Lou is honest and won't try to push you in buying sh!t you don't need. Just make sure you don' start racing everyone around town like one of his sons is doing:D :D :D :D

Here is another reason I'm fond of the chicken choker. He is easily entertained laughs at my humor, never gets offended, always grateful . That makes up for his many issues, dysfunctional, irrational behavior & all around menace to the motoring public & perhaps a contributing factor in G.M's. demise . lol
