my car sounds like total ass now..it sounds like htere's something loose inside the mufflers..well im no tsure if its on both but i know for sure at least hte drivers side..it sounds like baffling came loose or osmething? when u kick it it osunds like there's something loose in it..an when it runs it sounds like all hell and is loud...so i guess i needa look into new mufflers..but what should i get if any at all? (i heard of people runnin em with open pipes..what do you guys think would be good in sound and performance?)

hm i'll check it out tommorow it could also be loose...because it rattles a little but but with the more gas i give it it starts to rattle more..an it seems to be comin from BOTH sides...so im startin to think it might jus be loose.

Mufflers

I run an 87 GN with a 49 turbo and stock downpipe. I found the best combination if you want to be stealthy is a test pipe with the Napa stock replacement muffler. No drone.

yep deff. need new mufflers..these damn things look like crap lol..holes an stuff in em...they are dynamax super turbo mufflers...hmm..napa stock replacements sound pretty neat depending on how much they are...also i guess hooker would be good 2.

I recently found a big hole in the Magnaflow on my car single 3 inch , i decided to go with a 3 inch pipe i fabed up in its place . When your on the car it sounds pretty rowdy... it really screams , My buddy said it kinda sounds like a Jap car, but you can hear its making some power . Not like the fart can crap . I dont think id recomend for a daily driver . Ive got 2 other cars so i only use my GN now to fool around .

i found holes in my mufflers and when you hit em it rattles like the whole insides are loose lol...soi patched the holes and works fine for the time being but now im gonan start tryin to pick out a some good mufflers to put on there...

what are the benifits of having a hooker exhuast sytem like this http://www.gnttype.org/techarea/pictureguides/downpipes/hooker.html mine is like that except it has crappy dyno max super turbo mufflers

Can't beat a cheap HOOKER for the money!

Well you could but don't let her pimp catch you!

Dynomax welded Ultraflow race mufflers are super nice and straight through design. I use them on everything they drone a little but the whistle from a turbo through them cant be beat. they are one of the best flowing mufflers out there according to a few of the magazines. anything but a flowmaster

I use the aluminized ultraflow welded race mufflers. I just can't justify spending the money on stainless it may last 10 times longer than aluminized but who knows what it would have on it in 3 years let alone a month from now my mufflers have been through 3 cars and 2 jeeps and readying themselves for a regal.

I've had Summit $15 each 2.5" turbo mufflers on my Red T for years and probably a 100K miles. They're quiet, long lasting, and the price is right.

can you guys post some pix of your exhuast setups?? i think i might have to get some pipes bent to have it put up right ..so if you could give some pix of your exhuast systems that'd be great..
