if i spool up to about 5 psi just normal driving, and hold my foot there, my boost fluxuates?

is this compressor surge? is there a way to tune it out?

yeah only at low RPM when my foot isnt even half throttle, but the turbo is spooled to 5 PSI or so

my translator was set at 6% rich and did the same thing, turn it down and see if that clears it up. (i think it was you that said thats where you had yours set)

no see its been like that as long as i can remember with the extender chip.

ive had various tunes from 0% to 6% rich and its always had a little surge. its just more noticeable now that my turbo spools up faster (with the Manual boost controler)
