take care and i'll take to you soon about the turbo, kevin:)

85 T pics

That's one nice looking California car and engine. How long did it take you to get the new intake system in?

Your brake system looks like mine, any problems with it? Mine has been trouble free since the change.

No real problems with the brakes, I had a powermaster on the car from the factory (late 85 car).

installing the intake was simple. Just bolt on, clock the turbo and go.

Great ride!! Love that two-tone, so much I nearly converted my GN.

Great job on the TM install!

Nice car. Looks familiar :D

and now it's time for:

1:a posi

2:some new wheels:D.i swear to god,you and dan smith are the only ones still running those fugly-ass stock wheels:).

seriously tho,it was cool hanging out in vegas.i know i'll be back next year.hey you should come up to woodburn next july.dave loney's organizing "turbo thunder III".really good air and a sticky track:).

later,sean

Well, dissin my peg-leg are ya.:D I know, posi is comming in the summer along with 3.73. I know, the stock wheels are not the best looking, but they are light. The wheels that I want are 17" AR torque thrust. But here in Canada, its like 2500$ with tires, and with me being in collage right now, that ain't happening.

I run the t wheel for my bf drags at the track , those rims are far from light . Try some convo pros or weld wheels there light.

I dont think they look that bad guys. ;)

But I like the stock wheels

The way I look at it, its more important for me to get the drivetrain worked out then worry about looks. Why go spend $700 on wheels when I can put that money twoards more mods :D

Iam with you i would rather have my car fast with no rims and paint job then have it look great and slow as crap.

Keep the t rims they look good and makes it a great sleeper.:D

talk to yea soon, kevin

that's why i put the posi first:).

I would also rather have the car faster than have new rims because the stock one are not THAT bad, I have seen worse. And posi IS comming this summer, But I did spend a few grand on a new paint job. I want the car to have some good looks, and not just pure balls. When I ment that they are light, I really ment lighter than GN rims. I think they are at least.

Wheel Weight

My younger brother had an '84 T Type with the same style wheels that you have. I still have my ''85 (the original bad to the bone) GN, that I have owned since June 1985.
Years ago , after he blew a tire and I was replacing my two rear tires (US Baldies) we had the chance to weigh them. The were within ounces of each other.

What i'm refering to, is the 86/87 chrome GN wheel. Sorry if I confused you.
