They can be had for much cheaper....I used to install avionics and flight control systems in various commercial and corporate aircraft. Even spent some time in an Albatross I did some work on. Smooth flying and very comfortable.

Actually an L-39 will only do about 390 Knots = 440 MPH. Remove the tip tanks and you can gain another 20-30 MPH.....:biggrin:

it consumes around 55 gph. a lot lesss than one of those 5 seater jets that some people have, they consume around 300 gph.


I would paint it all black and tint the windows and put GNX vents on the front nose cone

Why would you get the L39 when you can pick up that MiG for just over half the price??!

Or... This MiG 21 in Prauge is only $32K- You can't afford not to buy it! That's less than a GNX
