Someone please design trunk shocks

guess you never tried to get 6x9 speakers in the rear deck with the Torsion bar setup ,have to use these worthless adapteres that really sux...

I think that GM made a shock that can be made to fit. I saw pics of it somewhere and a note about how they got it from GM. Can't for the life of me remember where or what the part numbers may have been. Big help huh!

Audiowizard (one of the moderators on this board) converted his to gas shocks...you might query him as to the procedure and what shocks he used....

Correct. I think it was an 81 Monkey Carlo that I saw that had them. They go into the back seat if IIRC.

80-82 G-bodies used them. Some had torque rods and some had shocks.
