No, they closed it down for now, Its supossed to make a comeback. there is a thread on it, here or T6P?

its at T6P, they said "Suppose" to come back but no real assurance it will. Wish I would have known that ahead of time I would have spent more time transferring the info to my computer..........

Yeah this sucks for sure. I just got my first turbo ride and I was going to look at all the tips on the site. First off I heard about I should check the intercooler and clean it out. And they had a guide on there on how to go about it. Now I got nothin!

GNTTYPE is simply being moved to a different computer server. In order to get the domain name straightened out, the owner simply has to provide the proper paperwork to a DNS service provider once all the data is moved over. It WILL be back up.

Did you know you would be this missed?;) BTW when will it be ready, soon I hope? I was finally going to start installing my motor next week and will be needing those resources as many others have.

It's basically running in test mode right now ... once the DNS stuff gets transferred most of it will be back up.

The bulletin board will be a little bit later (and the mailing list), but should be back within the next couple weeks.

Actually folks, the information is still out there.

Just have to know how to get to it.

Go to www.google.com. Say you're looking for turbo Buick transmission information. In the search box type in 'site:gnttype.org transmission' (without the quotes).

Your search results should look like this. Now, DON'T CLICK THE RESULT you're interested in since the site is down. Click on the link labeled Cached to see a stored version of the page. :)

It's not perfect because images won't display but you can still access all the great textual information until the site is up again.

Thanks. I am about to put my heads back on along with a cam and needed the info. Greatly appreciated!!!

Scott, how are the finances for the new server? I've got an extra 20 laying around here somewhere. :)

Contact Scott Keller (keller_s@swbell.net) ...

Looks like things are moving along ... we have to do a bit more plumbing before the site is ready for release, but it's looking pretty good.
