Sound dampener/Heat barrier?

Getting ready to do my entire interior with a sound dampener and was wondering behind the dash were the factory jute insulation was and on the floor should i use something else to help with the heat? I was looking at second skins Damplifier pro and heat wave pro to do the job but want to be carefull to not make it to thick to give me issues!
