southwestern section reality check

Hey guys, just sitting here drinking a diet pepsi. Seems like alot of us have bashed each other so much lately, that we are making more enemies than buddys. I dont care much for the name calling, hybrid bashing, bragging etc., if its not out of fun and games(WE KNOW IT NEVER IS). I think we all need to check one's self and be a bigger man/men, and agree that this shi^ has to stop sometime. We are very few in numbers, especially within driving distance of hanging out with each other, and things would be better if we all got along. Me personally love to hang out and check other peoples cars out, especially somthing with a turbo,heck, and bobs I dont even bother to walk around unless I see something that resembles a turbo regal So i'm stepping up to ask that we all agree on working out each others differences, or at least sucking it up, and maintaining a good relation ship here on the board, and among each other when there are meets. Hopefully we all get together sometime soon, I would like to meet some I've yet to meet, and look foreward to more get togethers. Every 6 monts dont cut it, so what do you all say? Nice to see a classy post in the so. western section. this place has gotten to be quite the soap opera. Theres a lot of good that has been done here, by good people over the years. I'd hate to see that end. Do we REALLY NEED to talk trash? Even the slowest one of us can annihilate most of the cars on the road. Let's try "Going fast with class"!

Hope to see some TBs (or TB powered vehicles) at the Donut shop tomorrow.

I have been noticing all this drama too and thought, what is going on. I love when we all meet up, like TurboElky said we are few. And I am looking forward to seeing all you guys once again.
There is no butt kissing going on here, I just know it is better to be friends than enemy's.

The only real good get togethers we ever had or have had is the one in westminiter show and the one BOB and I did last year, we had over 36 GN's show up and it was nice seeing everyone, lets try and do that again., free food an drinks again except, Cruz57 and Chevota, they have to pay for thier meal, or if im allowed to serve them i will have a couple of plates made up for them spiced up with a little something something.

I second that. I posted that Jack is coming to town and it was shortly closed. I think Jack is rethinking his offer; he does not want to come out to be a referee.

not kissing up, I dont need to since I've never really got into it with anyone rather than wicked sprayer.. I'm just putting in my 2 cents/opinion on the way things have gotten out of hand around here lately. Gary always has to shut down threads, people threaten each other, try to tell each other where they belong. This is the united states, you belong where you want to belong.
and I can see that your right about Kevin, he's relentless with his comments,
but what can you do? and as far as the cold one, I would love to come out to irwindale, just waiting to get a good tranny in my elky. Its like going to a poker game with no money, you cant play, I dont want to come out to spectate, I want to play too! I could always bring out the 81 turbo regal and flog it for an 18 sec. pass we need to get together someday anyways.., should be fun.

Turboelky, you seem like one of the sane ones,LOL, can I get your home or cell number in case I get in trouble? Lost or otherwise? I'm coming down Friday and will try to find a place to stay close to the park area, I'm old and have a habit of getting lost. Thanks, Ron at rburgess1@bak.rr.com PS Are there any areas I should stay away from like Compton? I got lost and in trouble in the wrong area a couple of years ago and don't want to do it again.
