Any one using them?
Do they flow good - or good enough for a low 11ns car?
i am going with 3.5 plumbing from the turbo's inlet to the filter.
thanks for your help guys.

Take it for what its worth... I am sure theyre capable for the 11s or 10s or whatever BUT from my personal experience... I won a free one on the PowerTour and put it on... After the tour was over the >stainless steel mesh< was all rusted.... In all my years my K&N always looked nice.... So off it went.... They do have a warranty and said it Shouldnt of happened...they said they would take care of it BUT.... If it aint broke.....well i stuck with my K&N

I've had two Spectre cone filters over the years. One I purchased and another was given to me. Both of them rusted, quickly I might add. I wouldn't even run them on a lawn mower!

I've been using one from the ricer section of Autozone and have had no issues for several years now. I can't recall who, but someone on this board (I THINK bigwoodracing) said they had run the same filter on the dyno and it was good up to 600+hp with no restriction.

I have one. I read some reviews that it filters and flows fine. I haven't had any rust issues.

FWIW I like the AEM Dryflow, they don't need oiled like the K&N. I've not personally had it happen, but the oil from a K&N can foul the MAF, especially if it's over oiled after washing. No such worry on the AEM and it has a lifetime warranty.

i ended up going the cheaper rout
i put the heat gun my K&N and expanded it from OE 3" to 3".5 so for now i no longer need a filter.
thanks for the replies guys.
