hello people; No biggie but in my part of town (Newton Mass) the channel is gone for now. I called and it's something about negotiating a new contract. I'm sure it will be back?

yup, speed channel is gone. It's now Fox Sports 1, and is a generic sports channel.

Get Velocity Channel. It's the all car/ racing channel now.

Damn, i was hoping they just moved to another channel and i just haven't found it yet. I'm in Ohio and have Time Warner btw, who also just recently dropped Show Time, so no more Dexter either.

Dude, just got back from Indy. We ride our bikes up for the gp every year, tv does those bikes NO justice. I knew something stupid was coming because speed had already stopped showing ama and wsbk this year.

Me too! I could have swore I was paying more for Speed, Fuel TV etc. And BTW Fuel TV is now Fox Sports 2.

What is the Ch # on Directv for Velocity??
