Was troubleshooting an ignition issue over 20 psi and lost all boost. Now I know why;

From the research I've done, this is an old style GN1 front mount intercooler. Funny thing is, I looked up an old post of mine and enjoyed reading post number #7. No offense Mark, but I found it funny :)

On to a better made and larger intercooler. Suggestions? I like Jason's the most.

Why don't you repair the intercooler? Any decent fab shop that has a tig can repair that for you. Look up Matt at ProFab..

RJC gets my vote. The fit and finish of Jason's stuff is awesome. I love mine.

Those different fin heights and spacing could be intentional in order to eaqualize some distribution of the air across the intercooler. certainly possible I'd think. sucks that you split it though... Hopefully it didn't cause an overspeed of the turbo.

Sorry for teh parts breakage...Bejing Performance:rolleyes::eek:. LOL
Get it repaired and sell it.
Then get RJC, Cottons or PTE all are good.

No questions the above are good I/C's :biggrin: :eek:

I would give the vendor a call and see if he can help out before you change intercoolers. I'm sure pretty much everybody at some point has had a problem here or there with welds.

" Then get RJC, Cottons or PTE all are good. "

This is what he actually posted. :rolleyes:

Why would you intentionally misquote someone? :eek:

Well, sorry to hear about what happened but that is NOT the one I sell or have ever sold and I do believe those units were actually made in the US.
