spool up TA54?

looking at the TA54 stock appearing turbo. Will my 9 1/2 2800-3200 stall converter spool this thing? I have alky, 60lb inj, TT chip, THDP, Dutt neck, good fuel pump and hotwire.

I would say so ! I am running a 70 with a 3500 stall and mine spools just fine. Little slow if I nail it at a idle but not long and i'm GONE

who's converter? If it is one of Dusty's it will be fine.
Even if it isn't the PTC it should be fine if you have true 30-3200 stall.
We have had issues with this turbo and other converters "rated' in that range, that only stall to 2600.

I have ran into a few of those! I see most of them reach the "advertised" stall speed at 5 psi or so. I think he should see where his is and report back.

bought the TA60 instead, so should not be a problem. And it is a Texas AC converter.

That is a good turbo you should like it.

I was looking at the TA54 myself, but I have decided to step down to the TA60 also. Please post videos of this turbo spooling and some times ASAP! I am very interested.
