On occasions on the highway I like to floor it at 60 MPH and with more stall it might slow it down at the top end.
If you had a quality converter it woudnt matter what the stall speed is . I will have data on a 3200 PTC and a 66 GTQ .85 precision housing BB cartridge very soon. Dusty said to expect under 5% slippage up top. The car will mph in the 130-132 range at 25-26 psi if the un-girdled stock bottom end doesnt explode. Less than 5% slip. Imagine that. Nobody would ever believe those numbers 10 years ago but they are the norm with a PTC converter these days. I expect the car to accelerate like it was shot out of a cannon from 60+mph. Should be going 120+ in about 7-8 seconds from a 60mph rolling punch if theres traction:tongue: . Converter tech today is light years ahead of even 5 years ago.
